    is this certification only for IT professionals, can any other discipline (mechanical, chemical, biotech) graduate do this certification?

    1. Hi Prateik,

      I would recommend this certification to people who are working in IT systems because it is all about the IT infrastructure. It doesn’t make any sense for a Java developer to learn 3d modelling of mechanical objects similarly, I don’t feel this certification is relevant for other industries, until and unless they really want to jump into IT.

    Started with studying course videos, whitepapers, did handson, studied dumps, FAQs and finally cleared the exam.. Entire process took just one month.. Expecting similar blog with links from you for Developer course too…

    I am a 2 years experienced in Production Support in Mphasis. Now want to switch to Cloud Computing. I was always interested in cloud computing since my college days (presented some papers at national level) but could not work in the same technology due to MNC policies for freshers. With the very basic knowledge of Cloud Computing at the moment, can someone pass the certification(after any course) and get job (because it’s profile switching) after possessing sound knowledge??

    Can QA engineers with 10+ years of exp and some programming and scripting knowledge go for this certification?

    And any suggestion if i want to move towards DevOps direction, would i be considered as a fresher in that domain?

      Thanks for reading the blog, Definitely yes, QA engineers with 10+ experience can go for this certification.
      I don’t think you will be treated as a fresher, if you understand the concepts and if you are good in the skills, definitely you are not a fresher.

    AWS provides huge number of services.
    I wanted to know which to know which services to use, when (and why iff possible).
    Example: when should I use EC2 and when should I use LAMDA?

    I am from cross-platform mobile development (Android & IOS) background with 2 yrs of experience ….is it a good option for me to start getting into aws certifications exams ??
    Should i be taking a call on this…i am confuse ??

    And i saw your certification have expiration date also can you just explain why expiration ??

      Thanks for reading the blog. Going forward, software development will be tightly coupled cloud services, so its definitely worth learning cloud services. Taking the certifications depends upon your interest.

      Yes, AWS certifications are expiring every 3 years, though when I received the certificate it was bound to expire in 2 years they have changed it later. Hope it helps.
